What is the Green Card Lottery?

The United States government issues 55,000 Green Cards every year through the Diversity Immigrant Visa Program, commonly known as the Green Card Lottery. Applicants are selected randomly by a computer generated drawing. If selected, the main applicant, spouse and all unmarried children under 21 years of age will have a chance to apply for permanent resident status in the United States.

How does it work?

  2. Pay an administrative fee
  3. Receive registration number and password to your account
  4. Log into to your account any time to complete/change your information
  5. Provide photos of yourself and any co-applicant
  6. Have Diversity Visa application submitted
  7. Winners are notified
  8. Winners will receive a FREE airline ticket from USAGCL*
