Green Card Lottery Is Over!

In exactly one day, the Green Card Lottery will end and all applicants who wish to take advantage of this fantastic program must wait another year to sign up. Don’t be one of them, sign up today with USAGreenCardLottery.org.

The Green Card Lottery is a yearly program which is mandated by the United States Congress for the purpose of diversifying immigration numbers. There are over 150 eligible countries and if you were born in one you can get a permanent resident card through the Diversity Visa lottery.

As long as you are from an eligible country and you have at least a high school education or its equivalent* you can apply for the Green Card Lottery and potentially get permanent residency in the United States in two years.

This is an unusually short period of time for getting a green card considering that other categories sometimes take a full year to come to term.

The ineligible countries are Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Mainland China, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Haiti, India, Jamaica, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, South Korea, the United Kingdom and Vietnam.

These countries are considered ineligible because too many immigrants come from these countries every year and therefore disqualify them for diversity immigration.

Green cards grant the holders the right to live, work and study in the United States for as long as they so desire.

An additional value of having permanent residency is that you can take advantage of all of the rights, privileges and infrastructure in America. The freedom of speech and of the press is one of the most famous and popular.

With permanent residency you can also eventually apply for citizenship which will permanently attach you to the United States and all of the rights that that entails.
